Wechiau, (U/W), June 19, GNA - The Canadian International Developmen= t Agency (CIDA) and the World Bank have voted $17 million to assist Ghana to combat desertification and drought. Half of the amount which is $8.5 million came from CIDA while the remaining half came from the World Bank.   Read more...

Accra, June 19, GNA - The Food and Drugs Board (FDB) has warned the public about the sale of counterfeit Artesunate tablets on the market. A statement issued by Dr Stephen Opuni, Chief Executive of the FDB at the weekend said laboratory analyses conducted on the product revealed that it contained no active ingredient (Artesunate) therefore compromising its quality, safety and efficacy.

The Association of Ghanaian Professionals in Ireland (AGPI) have held an international workshop on racism and discrimination against migrant women living in Europe at the Clarion Hotel in Liffey Valley, Dublin 22.
